October 2022 Horoscopes - Vedic Astrology

Vedic astrology is based on sidereal time, and it takes into consideration the ascendant (the rising sign) and the moon sign, where your moon is placed in your birth chart, unlike Western astrology where the sun sign is taken into account. The moon sign can give detailed insights into a person's innate gifts, inner world and potential. To find out what your ascendant and moon sign is, you can google ‘Free Vedic Astrology Birth Chart’ and find a relevant website, fill in your personal details (name, place of birth and time of birth), and the software will prepare your birth chart and show you your moon sign.

In regards to the monthly predictions below, I recommend that you read the horoscopes for your ascendant and moon sign. For example, if your ascendant is Aries and your moon sign is in Gemini, read the horoscope for both Aries and Gemini. October 2022 Horoscopes

October is a month of Solar Eclipse, which is happening in the sign of Libra. The predictions will focus on how the eclipse will affect your ascendant and moon sign.

Aries – This eclipse is happening in your seventh house which is the house of relationships. This could be a newly founded relationship, or somebody may come back from the past, somebody you may have been thinking about who could open you up to make changes. If you are in a relationship, it's time for you to open your heart because this eclipse is going to bring up things you didn't know about with regard to your partner; expect some form of closure.

Taurus – Pay attention to your health and your ailing pets as they may have a health issue. In the workplace, if you're not getting along with your co-workers, it's time to heal. Try and get along with people, especially your subordinates or your employees. There could be issues around your work and around your health so take good care of yourself. 

Gemini - You will have a lot of great new ideas, like creating a new business or a new entrepreneurial venture. This, however, is not the right time for investments, though I must tell you, it is a time when your investments will change. If you have invested in the stock market, your stocks may go way down, so just ride the wave. If you have children, you need to pay attention to your children as they may be reaching out to you and asking for your help. This is the time for you to bring some newness into the world, a new creation, a baby, or a new family member. 

Cancer – If you are looking for something new - a new place to live or work, it's time to make that change. Initially, you might feel like you are not settled for a while, but that's okay; it's just the way it is when you're dealing with the eclipse energy. It is unsettling and it causes you to move, followed by a little bit of chaos in your life. Something may be going on in your family dynamic that you're going to have to attest to and help with.

Leo - It is a time when you're going to feel the dilemma about being on the go or going someplace, but at the same time, you may also want to learn something new along the lines of metaphysics or spirituality. If you have younger siblings, they may need your help, advice, and guidance. If you are a student, you may change your major or your school itself.

Virgo – It’s time to readjust and evaluate your financial situation and how are you going to prepare for the future. There could be some losses financially during this time, however, (if you have made investments) do not sell any stocks now, just sit back. Please be cautious and don't rock the boat, because you can create more problems. Be mindful of how you spend your money, do not put them into anything risky.  Be cautious of what you say - you could find that, unknowingly, you may hurt some people's feelings.

Libra - You may be going through one of the biggest changes of your life. You may be changing your looks, your habits, your identity, the places you go to, and possibly, with all of this energy present in your first house, you could move or change where you're living. You may feel unsettled because everything about you is changing. So, keep calm, the changes will happen on their own; you don't need to force a thing.

Scorpio – People from your past may come back into your life – these could be people with whom you did not get along with. This is an excellent time for you to heal anything that's left undone from the past or to have closure, a sense of completion of every aspect of these relationships. You may find it hard to sleep but make sure you get adequate rest because you need it.

Sagittarius - Expect some friends who you haven't seen for a while to come around. You may hear some not-so-good news about someone you used to know a long time ago; you may go to reunions and meet people. if you have an older sibling, they may need your help - just be there to support them in their times of trials and tribulations.

Capricorn – It’s time for a career change or making a change to what you are doing in terms of your work, (maybe changing companies or launching a business). Make that leap as this change is necessary (don’t be surprised if your job is ripped out from underneath you to stimulate you to take a leap of faith and jump). If that happens, take it as a sign you are meant to move on to something new and different; a new sense of purpose is emerging for you this month.

Aquarius – You may find that your belief systems are changing you're waking up to a whole new way of believing and thinking, and this is good because you become more attuned to the spiritual side of life. Be careful of any lawsuit, because they could have the upper hand over you during this time. Your father may need some extra guiding care and some help so be aware of that this month.

Pisces – Things you didn’t know will come to the surface this month. Secrets and things that surprise you may open the door to a new way of looking at your life. This will prompt you into a transformational change because you know you can't be living life the way you were, and it's time to open up to a new way of living. You may need to change deep within your soul, your spirit, your psychology, and the way you view your world.
